- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Dr Eberhardt is the man to see if you have any colon problem. He is an incredible doctor! My husband had surgey about 5 months ago, which he had put off for over 14 years due to fear. Needless to say, he was extremely sick and infected by the time we saw Dr. Eberhardt. From the first visit to the last post op visit, Dr. Eberhardt was caring, patient, understanding, I can go on & on. This is not to mention his complete expertise in his field. I'm talking Top Notch!! The doc put him in the hospital after his first CT scan, due to a life threatening infection, which was on the way to being sepsis. This was the first time he saved his life!! He was also able to make my husband understand the effect of drinking with his condition well enough that my husband stopped drinking on the spot. Not a drop in over 8 months. My husband stopped drinking, but, Dr. Eberhardt cared enough to really talk to him about it. The surgery being performed so well ( 5 hours worth), kept my husband from being put on a temporary colostomy bag, which we were 90% sure he would need due to how bad his condition was. My husband was paranoid of having that bag, even temporarily for 6 months. Dr. Eberhardt took the time & care to explain every last detail and was able to do such an awesome job in surgery, that no bag was needed, which also prevents another surgery. We could never express our gratitude for all Dr. Eberhardt did, as well as his dedication & genuine care for his patients. I am extremely happy that we found him and my husband says that he was like an angel doctor, sent from above. For the record, my husband isn't the kind of man that says things like that.
